What is Franklin+Emily’s shipping policy?
* March 2022 Update - We're currently experiencing a longer than usual lead time for some of our products. We're working on getting this back down to 2-4 weeks, but are now shipping 6 weeks after order date. Our apologies in advance.
Our furniture is made to order and finished by hand, please allow 4 weeks from purchase for shipping. We often have some of our best-sellers assembled and ready ship, if you are looking for a particular piece and would like a more detailed shipping estimate please email us at email@example.com and we’d be happy to help.
We offer free domestic shipping to the lower 48 states for all orders over $150.
Shipping is calculated at checkout for orders to Hawaii and Alaska as well as international orders. We do not currently ship our Two-Seater Sofa, Desk+Chair Set or Learning Tower to Hawaii, Alaska, or internationally. If you are located in one of these areas and are interested in one of these items please email us and we will d our best to assist you.
Choosing expedited shipping options only reduces shipping time, not production time. The production time will remain the same and will take approximately 2 - 4 weeks to ship.
What is Franklin+Emily’s return policy?
We want you and your family to love our furniture as much as we do, but if for any reason you’d like to initiate a return we are here to help. If an item is defective or damaged, we will arrange for a replacement or refund. If an item is not what you expected, we will gladly accept returns or exchanges of unused, full price items in the original packaging within 14 days of receipt.
We ask that you hold onto your original packaging if you're thinking about a return and we recommend that you insure all merchandise and return to us through a delivery service that provides a tracking number and also requires a signature for verification of receipt (such as FedEx Ground, UPS or USPS registered mail).
If you are not happy with the color of your cushion covers, we can swap the covers out for a different color on any unused items within 14 days of receipt. Once the returned cushion covers are received we will ship the replacement covers free of charge.

How do I make a return?
Contact us by email at email@example.com and we’d be happy to help. Once the return is approved we will provide you with our return shipping address and details.
Refunds will be processed and credited to the same account to which your purchase was originally billed. Please allow up to two weeks from the date on which your merchandise is received by us for your account to be credited. Items that are part of an exchange will ship as soon as your return is received.

Shipping cost is calculated at checkout for all international orders.
All customs charges and duties are the responsibility of the customer. We are not responsible for any customs restrictions, tariffs, or other regulations that may apply at customs in any country. Any duties or taxes that may apply are your responsibility. If you have any questions, we encourage you to speak with your customs office.
All international orders are final sale, we currently do not accept returns on international orders.
